Got there at 2:00pm on a Saturday to meet some friends and they were locking their doors, although google says they are open till 3:00pm. I mentioned this to the employee and she grumbled “I don’t care what google says!” We sat outside at one of their table to discuss other places to go and again she grumbled that we can’t sit there because they are closed. They should change their name to “Lower Grounds”!

I really like higher grounds. Nice place to meet people in MJ...centrally located in town and a real gem for this lovely town. There are always a few things on the menu but the place is primarily a coffee shop. There's three different seating areas inside and two sitting areas outside that include a garden and street view. The reason for four stars instead if five is that I always need to remember to bring cash when I go since they do not accept credit or debit cards. I bet they change that eventually.
